December Scoring Course

Without those keeping score, there is no game!

A messy scorebook can cause all sorts of problems for a game of cricket, potentially leading to disagreements between teams and headaches for umpires and all involved.

On the other hand, a neatly organised scorebook can be one of the most aesthetically pleasing sights in a game of cricket, not to mention ensuring the match runs smoothly.

NSWCUSA will be facilitating a training course for scorers next week, taking place at 6:30pm on Tuesday 7 December 2021 at the Stephen and Mark Waugh Pavilion at Bankstown Oval.

Open to anyone, the course will provide the fundamentals required to accurately record the goings-on of a high-intensity cricket match.

If you have ever considered being involved in cricket as a scorer at any level, then this training course is for you!

Scoring for a club in NSW Premier Cricket can be a launching pad into scoring junior and senior representative cricket throughout New South Wales.

Whilst the course will focus on teaching scoring right from the basics to linear scoring, trainers will also facilitate a question and answer session on myCricket Live Scoring.

A number of NSWCUSA scorer members have progressed through the ranks from club cricket and are now scoring in Cricket Australia competitions.
