Metropolitan Courses Complete 2022 Training Program

NSWCUSA can confirm four Laws of Cricket courses will be held over the coming months across metropolitan Sydney as season 2022-23 fast approaches.

Three courses will be held over weekends, and one held mid-week over a three-week period and with 2022 Law changes set to be introduced next season it’s the perfect time to either introduce yourself to the Laws or for experienced campaigners to get a refresher.

The weekend courses will be held in Bankstown (13-14 August), Camden (13-14 August) and Parramatta (9-10 July) with the mid-week course also in Bankstown on Tuesdays and Thursdays (5/7/12/14/19/21 July).

The weekend course costs $40 to attend and the mid-week course $50; with all training materials included and provided to participants.

Each course will cover all 42 Laws in detail and leave you well-placed to begin umpiring anywhere or simply take away a greater knowledge of the game, whatever your involvement – an optional assessment is available after each course to complete your Laws of Cricket accreditation.

The mid-week sessions will run from 6.30pm to no later than 9.30pm each night – whilst the weekend courses will begin at 9am each day, running to 4.30pm Saturday and 2pm Sunday before a two-hour assessment.

Qualified trainers will provide in-depth education with high-quality examples of the Laws in action and are well-equipped to answer any and all burning questions you may have.

All NSWCUSA members are entitled to attend any education sessions held across the state free of charge, included in their membership of the Association.
