Online Umpire Course Confirmed for February

NSWCUSA can confirm the details of the Association’s next umpire training course, to be facilitated throughout February and March via Zoom.

The six-night Laws of Cricket course provides an in-depth look at each of the Laws that govern how a cricket match is played.

Facilitated by experienced umpire trainers, the course suits anyone interested in cricket – whether you’re interested in becoming an umpire, a player looking to learn more or even someone who just enjoys watching a game – this course will prepare you for anything that could happen on a cricket field!

The course will begin with a short introductory evening on February 15, before the five Laws sessions  take place on February 17, February 24, March 3, March 10 and March 17 – with an optional assessment on March 24.

Each Laws session will begin at 7.30pm and run for around two hours.

The course registration costs $35 which includes digital copies of all the resources you’ll require.

Financial members of NSWCUSA for 2021-22 are welcome to attend the course for free.

Upon successful completion of the course assessment, you’ll receive an NSWCUSA Level Two Laws of Cricket accreditation.
