List A Debut for Ben Treloar

NSWCUSA member Ben Treloar will make his List A debut on 1 October when South Australia host Tasmania in the Marsh One-Day Cup fixture at Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide.

The three-time winner of the Association’s George Borwick Memorial Award is beginning his third season as a member of the Cricket Australia Development Umpire Panel.

Treloar’s last fixture was in July, where he was appointed to two U19 One-Day Internationals between Australia and New Zealand in Brisbane.

Last season, he stood in the NSW Premier Cricket First Grade Limited Overs Cup Final between Sydney and Sydney University at Drummoyne before also being appointed to the Second Grade Grand Final between Sydney University and Parramatta.

The 2018-19 season saw Treloar stand in four Women’s Big Bash League matches, in addition to three four-day and one T20 Second XI match.

He attended three consecutive U19 Male National Championships between 2013-14 and 2015-16 on the back of two U17 Male National Championships in the years prior.

Treloar has now umpired 217 matches in Sydney Cricket Association competitions, including two First Grade Limited Overs Cup Finals, eight lower grade Grand Finals as well as 3 Finals in the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup.

His partner for the match will be experienced National Panel umpire Simon Fry, with local scorers Mick Harper and Neil Ricketts appointed to record the fixture.

NSWCUSA members Gerard Abood, Greg Davidson, Simon Lightbody, Claire Polosak, Tony Wilds and Paul Wilson have also been appointed to officiate in the Marsh One-Day Cup, beginning 21 September.
