Wilds On Field for Tri-Series Final

NSWCUSA’s Tony Wilds has been appointed to the Final of the Women’s International T20 Tri-Series, which takes place this afternoon between Australia and India at the CitiPower Centre in Melbourne.

Tony was involved in the six matches over the last fortnight; being on field for four matches and the Third Umpire for the first and last preliminary matches of the series.

The match is his ninth Women’s International T20 fixture, in addition to seven Women’s One Day Internationals, the most recent of which came in 2016.

The other on field umpire is Queensland’s Donovan Koch, also a member of Cricket Australia’s National Umpire Panel. Simon Fry is the Third Umpire and Geoff Joshua has been appointed as Fourth Umpire.

So far in 2019-20, Tony has been involved in three Sheffield Shield fixtures and three One-Day Cup matches in addition to nine appointments in the BBL regular season.

NSWCUSA member Claire Polosak was also involved in the preliminary matches, similarly on field for four fixtures and Third Umpire for the other two.
